everything has it's own blessing in disguise

it seems offlate, byk musibah or better i say - dugaan berlaku to me and to people around me.

few things happened to me before, i can see the blessings in disguise about it now...
it is like, if that didnt happen to me before, i would ended up in bigger problem. of course, at that time, being a normal person,who do not have a good patience level, i complaint and aku menjerut perasaan sorang2 as if it was the end of the world. tapi, skrg aku dah nampak, patut la benda tu jadik begitu...

nak cerita detail? well, tak payah la... nanti memalukan orang lain pulak :D

but enough said, if anything doesnt happen as you wished, muhasabah diri and sabar cos setiap benda and hikmahnya.

insyaAllah...




p/s: my sister was sharing on a findings:- a research was carried out and turned out that those who accidental hurt themselves and automatically 'curse' at that moment (mencarut2 le...), they felt less pain than those who refrain themselves from saying bad words and hold the pain... WORTH THINKING eh... ehehhe ingat dosa mencarut...

sapa punya perangai?

most of myfriends (which also includes myself) are now blessed with kid(s) of their own.

ni, aku nak cerita pasal anak2 aku...

sometimes diorg buat perangai yang membuatkan aku tertanya... 'perangai sapa la ko ikut ni...?'
but of course, all the times, diorg ni la penawar hati pengarang jantung.

so, anak2 normally ikut perangai sapa - mak ke ayah ke?
in my case, most of the notti attitudes i think are coming from my childhood :-p
my husband was a bit more of a decent kid... more to himself.
i, on the other hand, was more notorious, suka kenakan orang - and now... terima lah pembalasannya... hahahah

ha.... i have been told by my sister about a new show on astro channel 104, TANGKAP MUAT. hosted by Sarimah, and 2 'agents' and masa aku tengok tadi they were Zulfadzli and Rizalman.

verdict: aku suka!!!

it is a show, sort of reality tv show, where someone will call and nominate your name to be errr... madeover? hahaha... alahai... diorg akan ransack rumah org tu, geledah wordrobe (at this time abis le rahsia-rahsia wardrobe yg ntah hape2) and they will help you and groom you into a new more presentable image.

if my hubby watched it, aku rasa mesti dia call and calonkan nama aku. sebab? lepas dah beranak dua ni (err... ke lepas berbadan macam dua?) aku memang malas bebeno nak bersiap. apa baju aku pakai masa dlm rumah, baju tu jugak aku haruk ke klcc ke pavilion ke... handbag je branded sebab dapat free from my mom (ahaks!!). kasut? memang sandal clarks aku tu je cos i normally have hell of a time finding the right size for my beloved feet!

and my hubby memang orang yg bersiap. masa bujang dulu aku le lagi bergaya. dah ada anak ni bertukar lak karekter kami. adush....

so, if dtg krew2 tu kat tempat aku, hahahhaha... akan ku kunci wardrobe lama guna solex.

if u like good sense of humour (i.e. mengenakan org when they ransack the wardrobe) and you like a good sense of style... you must watch this.

meet few old friends from uni and they have been uploading old pics. saw a pic of a close friend, dia dah meninggal and suddenly i feel very sad... sad that we have lost a very good friend.

good to be back at home...

since friday, hazeem, harith and myself have 'checked-in' at Gleneagles cos harith got viral fever...
hazeem of course, just enjoyed being there with us.

what happen?
long story cut short... harith has been feverish for 3 days and the day before he was admitted, his temperature tak turun2 eventho masuk ubat bont** (:D)

and that same night, my niece was also admitted, well dia yg kena admitted dulu errr... panjang citer ni, bior le mak dia je citer, if she wants to.

so, kitorg berjiran la masa kat gleneagles hhahahha... it was quite an experience, mmg cam holiday sakan. kejap kitorg kat tempat dia, mengepau makanan and kejap2 diorg dtg bilik kitorg layan astro ehehheh...

it was quite difficult takde suami di saat2 getir (betul ke... getir ke genting???)
luckily i was the one holding the insurance card for the boys.
(nota kaki: penting insurance utk anak2 ya....)

but we survived 3 hari di sana.

now harith is getting better...

makan makan in cairo

my husband said the food in cairo is expensive, so he had company food for lunch and munched on tidbits and cookies at nights. so i asked my cousin who is studying in egypt, 'dont tell me even students eat expensive food? there must be good delicious hawker food...'

ask n u shall receive...

mmg le ada. but no point explaining to me on the location when i cant even figure out where the friggin' hotel is. so he will call hubby, if he can cos he is now holidaying in malaysia.

being a food lover, so i googled and found this website, FriedChillies. perrghhhh... meleleh tgk ayam bergolek2 atas api. and since it is a website on food, u'll find others as well...

hazeem started the fever last night... once awhile he kept calling me 'Abah' - could it be that he misses his father?

last night harith got slightly feverish... aiseyman...!

we managed with few dosage of paracetamol.

i think due to too much of these two during my first pregnancy, my son has most of calvin's criterias and charms... hehehhe

during my dating years, i got few books as gift from my husband(masa tu boyfriend)... little did he know, he would have a son just like calvin & hobbes.

the relation between a box of pringles and a bunch of monkeys

the moment i stepped in the car i didnt realise i was sitting on a box of newly opened pringles. luckily, it wasnt severely dented (wink wink). mr blongos (aka mr hubby) asked for his pringles so i grabbed the othe end of the box without realising (again!) that my butt was still on the lid of the box... slurrrrrrr... pringles were nicely 'laid' on the car seat (nasib baik seat bersih and cantik). i could see the slight anger and frustration on mr blongos' face (adeiii...)

'okey ni, bang. still lom pecah... ja kutip ya...' (terkulat2 muka aku tersengih2 mengutip pringles masuk box balik). i think he lost a bit of his appetite, trying to contain his anger. so, hazeem took the pringles and ate them. have to admit that everybody was hungry after a looooong trip on the cable car. mr blongos continued driving the car.

the road was winding and trees and hutan were along the road (errkk... jalan tu mcm jalan kat penang tepi laut tapi ni lalu hutan2 yg berbukit bukau haaa.... paham??). i was still trying to hide my smile from the pringles incident when i heard another... slurrrrrrrr.... 'ya allah!! apa keje ko ni hazeem abis tumpah pringles dlm kereta?!! abis abah nak makan apa???!!'

pringles tumpah lagi... this time no turning back. memang rosak... bersepai atas karpet kaki kereta - nak kutip?? ampunnn...

i could see hazeem's face cuak. mr blongos immediately stopped the car by the roadside... (nak cuci kut...). he grabbed a handful of the damaged pringles, wound down the car window, 'nah, baik aku bagi beruk ni je makan! beruk, rezeki korang la hari ni!!'

WAKAKAKKAKAA... marah punya pasal, frust and lapar somemore... last2 beruk2 bukit tu yg makan pringles. suka beruk2 tersebut ada menu baru hari tu...

langkawi GETAWAY - part 2

Day 2:

our plan was to wake up at 730am, latest and we ended up waking up at 10am! alamak, breakfast abis kul 11am. we rushed like mad, mandi and bersiap.

breakfast harith... hmm... i saw rice porridge, esok leh kasik harith makan tu la plak.

kenapa muka berpeluh dan cuak?? sebab we were on langkawi cable car! an experience worth your time and money! and GUTS! harith muka selamba sebab mengantuk... :D

see... mengantuk... but refused to sleep!

hazeem, belum cuak cos still not fully aware that he was actually tens of feets above ground!

within minutes we were already halfway up. nampak tak area yg takde pokok tu? bukan yg blueish tapi yg oren2 skit tu. that was the Oriental Village, the place where Langkawi Cable Car took off.cam kecik je kan.... jauh nun...

masa ni laki aku ckp goyang pun takleh... duk diam2 hahahaha...

on the other end of the bridge. whenever the wind blows, you can feel the concrete bridge swaying.. (ini bukan micheal buble nye swaying ni... ni swaying ketaq lutut). hazeem walked very slowly, dia dah cuak and he was holding my hand firmly cos you can actually see underneath your feet, ada gaung beb! yup, the bridge was built mmg design dia ada gap, ala... macam papan yg disusun byk2 and ada gap in between papan2 tu which you can see underneath you. once a while aku tertgk bwh, mengucap jugak.

balik ke pelantar. from here, we have to menapak balik ke atas nuuuun... menguji stamina aku yg nipis sgt2 ni.

to get on the cable car, you have to Q in the numbered boxes. so when the cable car turns... you will take turn to get inside. very mudah!

this is not the scene from Mamma Mia! ehehhe... this was Petronas Quay, dekat2 Pantai Kok. very nice place, nampak exclusive. i think this was a yatch club or something..

Hj Ismail Group mesti sayang kat aku sebab aku byk beli cekelat. i love chocolates. i will spend on chocolates. and they are duty free. so, why not!

budak staff HIG tu cerita, Hj Ismail was a langkawi locals. the company has 5 outlets all over langkawi. now the company was run by his children. he himself, dah meninggal. so, he was one of the langkawi rich person. alhamdulillah... orang kita...

langkawi GETAWAY...!!

we booked our 'holiday package' during the march 2009 matta fair. at that time, we were not sure whether we have enough money to go for this holiday but because we thought we desperately need one, and no one ever going to 'sponsor' us. so... we booked our package.

it was quite a bargain - FIREFLY tix for 2 adults and 2 children + 3 days 2 nights at Langkasuka Hotel, queen deluxe ie. 2 queen beds + airport transfer + daily breakfast + one dinner + car rental = RM740. Thanks to credit cards!

hehehe... janji we got our family outing, which we desperately need (tak payah story la apasal kan...)

Day 1:

my MIL and SIL sent us to Subang Airport, i think now they call it Skypark... (yo ko??) since it has been ages since i last stepped foot here, dah byk berubah airport ni. dah canggih. eheheh...

we reached there early as my MIL and SIL had to rushed to hospital afterwards. so, we had our lunch in the airport. ada la few kedai makan mcm foodcourt kat KLIA. ada Big Apple, Kopitiam and few others.

ada parts of the airport yg still under construction. and nak pegi pun quite easy now since there are DUKE highways pastu terus ambil NKVE. alhamdulillah... it was a smooth trip to airport.

during lunch...

harith mengamuk sebab kena duduk dalam stroller while everybody else duk meja makan. and he got to eat baby bites (biskut baby eehhehe...) skali skala dpt gak la Big Apple donuts. cian nya... tgk la air mata mintak simpati :D

round2 dlm airport. hazeem posing as airplane (yeah right... ehheheh...)

waiting for hubby to pray in surau. apalagi... amik gambar je la...! waiting area dia kerusi leather ok... jgn main2...

harith dah mengantuk and bosan and mengantuk!

nangis lagi masa kat balai menunggu (betul ke term tu?)... masa menunggu tu nampak lak TV3 nye pengacara Ally (?) ala... yg kecik2 comel tu. lelaki.

dlm flight, hazeem lak yg bosan and sleepy and bosan tapi tak mau tido cos he was afraid he would miss something interesting.

one down!

we were served with a muffin and a fruit juice. cam naik MAS la cuma MAS dpt kacang kan... peanuts!

this was our airplane tecittt.... ehehhe but very nice sebab still a new airplane.

once we reached langkawi, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much different from what i saw the last time i was here... masa tu aku still sekolah rendah kuangkuangkuang....!!!

sampai dah petang. checked in. cleaned up the boys. out for dinner. we read on the internet about EE Burger, so mencarik la mana EE Burger ni... mcm la kat KL takde burger. ehehhe...

found it, food sedap and rege not bad.

hazeem ordered hotdog and we ordered lamb chop. gambar makanan kitorg tak sempat ambik. dah lapa sebab melayan kerenah budak2 ni....

singgah beli cekelat kat tempat femes di langkawi, HJ ISMAIL GROUP. ni cekelat nak makan kat hotel. cekelat sebiner lom lagi...
