pergh....
yesterday we were supposed to go to 3 places, 2 open houses and a wedding.
first pitstop: shah alam - izayu's house. met few old friends from a level. mostly dah beranak pinak. three couples (incl us are married to alevel mates, and all of us are blessed with SONS - so, my conclusion: sapa kahwin sesama alevel, sure dpt anak lelaki! ehehe)
second pitstop: ampang - amali's wedding. nak sampai ke ampang from shah alam, we were sweating like nobody's biz, aircond kereta wat hal pulak. harith couldnt sleep. hazeem was talking (mostly crap) all the way. sheeshhh... terrible traffic jam! but sampai ampang, it was in a dewan, the wedding couple were dressed in orange suits. nice! and the settings are cosy and the songs and the OHP were playing old songs - i mean, really old like black and white old. nice!
third pitstop: alam damai cheras - gan's house. had to cancel. tak leh tahan... anak2 dah cranky. jam was terrible. i couldnt think straight. had to call gan and apologise for not being able to be there. sorry, gan and sara. next open house ok... :-(
then, head home to my mom's place. ada order kueh laks!!!

married to strangers
most of us think of an eventful wedding and a happy ever after marriage.
and most of think we know who we are married to - you should, even matchmade marriage also you would know a little bit or less about your to-be second half.
my mother always say, marriage is a gamble, we are all gamblers who are willing to put our neck on the blade (kuangkuangkuang...)
i know who my husband is. i know who he is when we were dating. but of course, who we date is only the tip of the iceberg. after your wedding, you woke up next to a stranger. to certain people, they woke to a total stranger. but, if u love each other, you will compromise on learning each other better, accepting and adjusting for the better.
my post titles 'married to strangerS'
this one i wasnt just referring to your spouse but THE FAMILY (drum roll please...)
family ni tak kira la dekat ke jauh ke... but the day you said your vow, u are married to this people as well. same goes to your family. thus, more understanding and more give and take are required. if u manipulated the situation well, u will get the benefits. and in Islam, the most important thing is do the right thing and you will get your pahala.
problem sometimes are, these strangers are not easy to handle. and they are not easy to be avoided as well! sometimes, hipocracy works wonders... (wink wink)
as for me, these strangers are some unavoidable (is there such word?) and the more you try to avoid them, the more they come menyengih at your face doing things that surely put your patience to test. so, i really hope my second half is very understanding and rational and brave enough to do the right thing...!! same goes for me...
