At 9am, i'll be meeting arin at Shell Kunang2 to head up to Quality Hotel in KL. We (a'che spa) are one of the sponsors for their Secretaries' Week at Matrade.
Later, i will go to Putrajaya. To do what?? Hmm... trying to grant my mother's wish... and maybe it will also be another life changing experience for me and family.
Nervous like hell... hope everything goes well....!!

Captiva Chevy
dream car?
sort of... for now... b4 this we aim for Kyron Ssangyong with Merc engine. Tapi hajat belum sampai. so, yesterday... beloved hubby was looking at Chevy Captiva - looks like CRV but more spacious...
for those who love and understand cars... here's an extraction i took from http://paultan.org/
"the Chevrolet Captiva (essentially a Daewoo Winstorm) will come in four flavours on our local soil - a 2WD petrol, a 2WD diesel, a 4WD petrol and a 4WD diesel. The petrol option will be a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder iron block E-TEC II engine putting out a relatively low (for it's displacement) 136 horsepower at 5,000rpm, and a decent 220Nm of torque at a surprisingly low 2,200rpm. This engine was definitely tuned to make all of its grunt at low RPMs, good for SUV. The diesel option is a 2.0 liter turbocharged unit with Bosch direct injection making 150hp at 4,000rpm and 320Nm of torque at 2,000rpm.
Both engines are mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic. For the 2WD models the power goes to the wheels via the front wheels, while in 4WD versions the system runs mostly with the front wheels, but sends torque to the rear wheels as needed up to a 50:50 split. The 7-seater Chevrolet Captiva uses a monocoque chassis (long wheelbase GM Theta platform) and rides on a MacPherson strut setup on the front and a multilink suspension at the rear, so comfort and handling should exceed competing SUVs that use a ladder frame chassis and rear coil spring setup.
It will be priced from RM138,000 for the cheapest 2WD petrol variant to RM155,000 for the most expensive 4WD diesel variant, which will include premium safety features such as ESP stability control, and Descent Control."

HowDoYouMeasure SUCCESS
A Somebody considers himself successful.
People see him as a successful person.
But is he really successful? How do you measure success?
Is it having a high position job makes you successful?
Or driving luxury cars. Or living in a house so big you can call it a mansion. Or having a lifestyle where everyone kisses your ass. Or being able to fill your appetite at expensive restaurants. Or being able to do anything money can buy??
Is that SUCCESS?
Or having a job that contents you makes you successful?
Or having a loving family thats always there in good or bad. Or being able to have time to be closer to God. Or being able to atleast contribute some sadaqah. Or being surrounded by friends that have no purpose or intention to kiss your ass. Or have the heart to help others no matter how minor that help could be cos you know how it is like to be in trouble??
Is that SUCCESS?
It can be anything... any how you see it...
But don't let success blinded you with arrogance - as if you have done it all by yourself
Remember your old friends... your family... everyone that was there when you were NOTHING
Remember Allah - cos He is actually the reason you succeed; and He can take it away before you can even breathe...

Is This How You Spell M A R R I A G E ?
i have been married since 2003. i have known my husband since 1995 and we dated in 1996...
(just count on how many years we've known each other)
and like other married couples, we also had our own RollerCoasterRide!
before marriage, i was an independent person.
or should i say that i love to be on my own without nobody watching my back.
sure, i also love care and attention from my family but a mild one will do, please.
after marriage, i thought i had prepare myself for changes
but i thought too soon...
everything we do (i was not exaggerating when i say 'everything'...)
they know
sometimes they comment (or most of the times)
a relative said ... "dah lama tak balik kampung..." referring to us, saying they have not seen us at kampung for quite a long time - why the hell you didnt balik kampung? (i exaggerated on that 'hell')
well... which kampung are you referring to?
Seremban? Sg Talan? Muar? Kelantan? or even Melaka?
frankly speaking, the only kampung that we visited recently was Kelantan - that was also bcos my Grandpa died!
other kampung??? what kampung? we barely handle commuting between 2 HOUSES and what kampung are you talking about?!
i saw my in laws EVERYDAY
i met my mom sometimes... even if i stay in her house i barely see her cos she sleeps as early as 9pm! and weekend she goes back to melaka
i met my dad once in a blue moon cos he is in melaka and whenever we met, either one of us got the chance to talk (i think PRU12 conversation was the longest we had so far)
i met my siblings once in a while - Liz and Youl; Aiyshah more frequent
i have not been back to Muar in AGES!!
so, let me ask again - WHAT KAMPUNG ARE YOU REFERRING TO?

Baraqah of the Day
12 Rabiul Awwal bersamaan 23 April 571M
Tercipta satu lembaran sejarah
Kelahiran sirah junjungan
Muhammad pesuruh Allah
Ingatan hari kebesaran
Ingatan keagunganmu
Meraut hina diri ini
Selawat ke atas mu, Muhammad
Keinsafan diri ini
Sayangmu terhadap umatmu, Muhammad
Meluluhkan hati ini
Ketinggian darjatmu
Meletakkan diri ini jauh di dasar
Membuahkan bibit-bibit taubat
Selamat Menyambut Maulidur Rasul...

Feeling not myself today
Irritated at almost anything
Feeling bloated and tender
Feeling really under the weather
...
WHY?
As a woman i think you would know
An irritating symptoms we always want them to go
*sigh...
If what i thought coming is right...
*sigh...
Then i have to buy me another Kotex
And then try another night!
Try what??
Hmm... let that be my secret... :-p

politicians...
Politicians are wonderful people
as long as they stay away from things they don't understand,
such as working for a living.

ladies best friend
we ladies have more than one best friend... ehheheh
one of them is our HANDBAG - we hold it close to our heart :-p
as i was thinking yesterday, (on which handbag to use this week) a question came to my mind
... why do we need to carry handbag?
why men don't have this issue?
ok, let us examine... first, what is in our handbag?
in mine, i have my purse... my Nokia... my car keys... shop keys... my namecard wallet
hmm... most are necessities...
okeeey... then i also have a lipstick... a lipbalm (yes, it's different from lipstick)... compact powder... eye shadow... mascara...
necessities? to some...
is that all?
let's see... receipt... more receipt... some more receipt... yup - rubbish!
wait... what is this? a toy car (to comfort my son whenever he feels bored outside)
and my hubby's wallet... his handphone... (no wonder my handbag is heavy!)
so, do we need, really need a handbag?
unless we carry a backpack everywhere, yes i need 'em!

a creative brilliant man always is a crazy man
Adam Sandler
one of the actors that i love.
most of his movies left a certain feelings in me after i've watched it
be it sad, happy, emotional, depressed... anything
but it sure leaves me with something
let's see... what are the movies that i have watched and what do i think of it:
- billy madison: so so, quite an old one
- happy gilmore: funny - who would thought being an asshole can make u a golf star
- bulletproof: hmmm... didnt watch it
- the wedding singer: excellent! my fav!!! great songs, sweet lines and sweet couple
- the waterboy: who would even notice a waterboy and make it into a hilarious movie
- big daddy: moving...
- little nicky: a menace! very funny...
- mr deeds: also funny
- anger management: excellent!!! with jack nicholson - nothing could go wrong
- spanglish: something worth pondering... esp if u are married
- 50 first dates: also something yang tidak terpikir but still great!
- the longest yard: perghhh... i love the spirit in this movie!
- click: if you are a busy working parent... u should watch this...
- reign over me: very depressing
- chuck & larry: errrmmm... take the values - still funny!

you see... adam sandler's movies fulfill most of the above

one EXCELLENT move
yesterday as i was driving home, i was listening to the news on the radio
the state (di mana segalanya bermula - you know where) has formed its EXCO
the CM has created a few new EXCOs for the benefit of the state
and EXCO Kesihatan will be put under EXCO Wanita
(why? you may asked...)
it is simply because, from god knows whose observation, most health issues are related to ladies
so the WISE CM leave it all to EXCO Wanita to handle health issues in the state
there you go!
all the best to the men in Melaka
(oppss.. did i mention which state?)

Our CHOIce
ofcourse, everything everwhere everybody now is talking about PRU12
i just wanna say about what i see...
before PRU12, BN thought they can tarik kelantan back into their hands
(duh... puhlease...!) and they send KJ to do the job (double Duhhhh...)
dengan kuasa Allah, Who protects hamba2Nya - PAS won big
before PRU12, i saw a biiig poster on a lady wearing tudung labuh - with a stetoskop
who on earth is this lady? (i was not much into politics b4)
tup tup menang lak Dr Lo'Lo' nih, powerrrr
before PRU12, Izzah was only an agressive passionate daughter of Anuar
now, she's a YB
and she's not yet 30! lagi satu powerrr
5 states fell to Oppositions
rakyat has chosen them
for those who are not satisfied, but you didnt buang your undi
too bad - please, forever keep your silence
but, what will happen lepas nih?
there are a few things stirred up the nation's emotions
hope, the rakyat, we have made our choice
hope, the chosen leaders
hope, we are matured enough to make it work
cos it was our choice
and only Allah knows what are the consequences of our choice
and as long as we pray to Him, Allah Maha Mengasihani HambaNya
amen

17 tahun bukan waktu yang pendek
17 tahun juga bukan waktu yang panjang
Tetapi 17 tahun cukup untuk mencipta 100 fakta
Bukti kewibawaan Islam agama memerintah
Mentadbir dan membangun negara..
17 tahun rekod mentadbir negeri tanpa rasuah, tuan-tuan
Menipu mencuri merasuah membunuh memurtad sekalipun
3000 wanita berniaga semuanya santun menutup aurat
Dinamakan nama isteri Rasulullah, Siti Khadijah
100 fakta Kelantan
100 bakal mengubah Malaysia
Elaun buka puasa tak pernah ambil, elaun hari raya pun tak pernah ambil
Dan tangannya sentiasa ringan memberi sedekah
Itulah Menteri Besar Kelantan
Baru-baru ini BPR datang ke pejabatnya
Bukan kerana dia rasuah, tetapi kerana dia
Tak buat report ada orang cuba beri dia rasuah
100 fakta Kelantan
100 bakal mengubah Malaysia
Waktu mula-mula dulu mereka kata tiga bulan saja
Kemudian tambah sedikit 6 bulan, kemudian jadi setahun
Sekarang 18 tahun dan ekonomi Kelantan semakin segar
Walau diskriminasi kerajaan pusat bermacam helah
Ditakut-takutkan dan dihalang pelaburan
Namun 17 tahun tanpa riba tanpa rasuah tanpa maksiat
Ekonomi Kelantan meningkat mengatasi lima negeri lain
Dulu nombor dua termiskin sekarang nombor enam di Malaysia
Dan di Kelantan tuan-tuan, tak ada tol,
nampak maupun tidak
harga barangan dan makanan pun kekal murah
dan harga nikah pun masih murah
100 fakta Kelantan
100 bakal mengubah Malaysia
Belajarlah daripada Kelantan tuan-tuan
Belajarlah daripada Tok Guru
Belajarlah berfikir sebagai insan merdeka
Bebaskan minda, bebaskan minda!

run fatboy run
just watched this british movie, directed by David Schwimmer.
HAHAHA - brilliant movie. very very hilarious!!
it was about a fat man who has been running away from everything in his life, every run away from his own wedding leaving his-suppose-to-be-and-pregnant-wife at the altar.
after few years, when another much-well-to-do guy wanted to marry her and take her and her son (with the fatboy) to america, he started to feel losing...
took him long enuf to realised that all this while he thought he was not good enuf for her. so he decided to finish something for once in his life (and of all the things - he chose to complete a marathon!!!)
can he finish the marathon? can he win her back from the american guy? can he live with his son again in London?
tengok le cerita ni... memang best!

masjid kristal, terengganu
29 Feb 2008, Jumaat
Jam 5.00 pagi zamil terpisat2 menjawab telefon... sayup2 aku terdengar suara dia yg mamai2
aku bingkas bangun, panic... apahal pulak? zamil menghulurkan hp ke arah aku
aku naik ke atas utk mengemas brg2, selesai zamil mandi, aku bergegas ke toilet
sementara memberus gigi, baru aku sedar - atuk aku dah tiada
aku terduduk dilantai bilik air... menangis tersedu2... melepaskan segala2nya sebelum aku melangkah keluar
sepanjang perjalanan aku menahan air mata
setiba di kelantan, hujan renyai2, mendung semendung hati kami semua
semua menanti ketibaan kami utk kucupan terakhir
aku tak dapat menahan hiba, melihat arwah utk kali terakhir
tak dapat menahan hiba, melihat nenek yg kepenatan, kepiluan dipeluk cucu2nya
tak dapat menahan hiba, melihat adik2ku teresak2 menangisi pemergiannya
tak dapat menahan hiba, melihat sungguh ramai saudara mara, sahabat handai yg dtg melawat
aku rasa lebih 100 org bersolat jenazah
kemudian dibawa ke masjid
selepas solat jumaat, semua bersolat jenazah sekali lagi
subhanallah... ramai sungguh, Abah. ramai sungguh yg bersolat
Subhanallah...
inikah balasan Abah yang tak pernah tinggal sembahyang?
... mulutnya sering menyebut nama Allah... mengaji Kitab Allah?
... tangannya yang sering bersedekah?
... amalan2nya yang dibuat kerana Allah?
Aku insaf...
semoga rohnya ditempatkan bersama org2 yang beriman...
